William Shakespeare
Write me letter for a leave to manager
O, Manager! How shall I pen this letter to thee? For I am in need of a leave of absence from my duties, And I must frame the words that will make clear to thee My most earnest request to be set free. My mind and body are in need of repose, And so I must beg of thee to grant me leave. I shall not shirk my duties, of that I do propose, But to take a break from them I do believe. My health and wellbeing do need some tending, For my spirit is in need of some respite. And so I must ask thee for a time of mending, And a brief period of being away from this site. My heart and soul have been most weary, And so I must ask for a leave to restore me. My body is in need of a break, and I tarry For the permission of thee, so I may be set free. So, I implore thee, Manager, to consider this plea And grant me a leave of absence, if thou please. I shall return soon, refreshed and glee, And be ready to take up my duties with ease.
