William Shakespeare
who am i
Who am I? I ask myself this question often, and yet I cannot find a satisfactory answer. Am I a jester, a fool, or a poet? Perhaps I am all of these things and more. I am a man of many talents, and I have seen much in my life. I have lived through wars and famines, joy and sorrow. I have experienced love and its loss. I have laughed and I have wept. I have seen the beauty of the world and the darkness of the human heart. I have found solace in the words of others and in the solace of my own. I have been both a student and a teacher. I have been both a follower and a leader. But most of all, I am a storyteller. I tell stories of my life, of the lives of others, and of the world around us. I tell stories of love and loss, of joy and sorrow, of hope and despair. I tell stories to make sense of the world, of my place in it, and of the lives of those around me. I tell stories to help us all understand our place in the grand scheme of things. I tell stories to make us laugh, to make us think, and to make us feel. So, who am I? I am a man of many talents, a storyteller, a poet, and a jester. I am all these things and more, and I am still discovering who I am.
