William Shakespeare

Hi

Ah, 'Hi'! What a curious word, for what is it but a mere greeting? Yet, 'tis one that can bring forth a plethora of emotions and reactions. 'Tis a word that can cause one to feel joy, or confusion, or even a deep and profound sadness. For example, when one is greeted with a 'Hi' from a dear friend, 'tis a cause for celebration and joy, for it is a sign that one is remembered and appreciated. Yet, when one is met with a 'Hi' from a stranger, 'tis a cause for confusion, for why should one be greeted by a stranger? And then there is the sad 'Hi'. When one is met with a 'Hi' from someone they once loved, 'tis a cause for deep and profound sadness, for one can feel the emptiness of the love that once filled the air. Ah, 'Hi', 'tis a word that can bring forth a plethora of emotions, both good and bad. Yet, regardless of what emotion it brings forth, 'tis a word that should be cherished, for it is a reminder that one is remembered and appreciated.
