What is the purpose of meditation

When it comes to meditation, it can be difficult to determine the purpose. Is it to help us find inner peace? To help us become more mindful? To increase our spiritual connection? All of these are valid and worthwhile goals, but the true purpose of meditation is much more than that. It's about finding balance in our lives and learning to appreciate the moment. It's about taking a step back and allowing ourselves to become more aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It's about being present in the moment and living with intention. It's about being open to the possibilities that meditation can bring and learning to be comfortable with stillness. It's also about connecting with something larger than ourselves, whether that be the universe, God, or something else. Ultimately, the purpose of meditation is to help us become more mindful, more aware of ourselves and our surroundings, and to live with more intention and purpose.
