How deal with negative speaking people

Verily I say, negative speaking people can be a challenge to deal with. For when they speak, they often speak with words of woe, and such words can bring down even the most cheerful of hearts. But fear not, for I have a solution! For when faced with such people, one should employ a tactic of gentle persuasion. Speak kindly, but firmly, and remind them of the joys of positive speech. For when we speak kindly, we can bring cheer to those around us. Then, if the negative speaking persists, one can simply take a step back and let the person find their own way to be more positive. After all, we can not force someone to change their speech, but we can provide guidance and support. Thus, the best way to deal with negative speaking people is to lead by example, and show them the beauty of positive conversation.
