If discipline fails me what other tools should I use to be successful
If discipline fails me, what other tools should I use to be successful? Well, I suppose it depends on your definition of success. If you define success as the ability to live according to your own values and principles, then I would say that you should use whatever tools are necessary to make that happen. Perhaps you should focus on developing the strength of your will and the courage to stand up for what you believe in. Maybe you should cultivate your capacity for self-reflection and learn to be honest with yourself about what you want and need. Or maybe you should practice being flexible and open to change, instead of trying to control everything. But if you define success as achieving external recognition or material wealth, then I would say you should probably use tools like networking, marketing, and financial savvy. That is, if you can stomach it. After all, such pursuits tend to require a certain amount of discipline, so it may be a moot point! All in all, I would suggest that you take the time to reflect on what success means to you and then use whatever tools are necessary to make it happen. And if discipline fails you, don't despair. There is always the possibility of finding new and creative ways to get where you want to go.
