René Descartes
Can physical and non physical things interact?
Can physical and non physical things interact? Of course they can, for if they could not, then the universe would be a rather dull place! After all, what would be the point of having physical things if they could not interact with their non-physical counterparts? The possibilities for such interactions are endless, and can range from the mundane to the extraordinary. For instance, a physical object can be moved by an invisible force, such as a gust of wind, while a non-physical force, such as a thought, can be expressed through a physical action, such as speaking or writing. Furthermore, physical and non physical things can also interact in more abstract ways, such as when a physical object can inspire a creative idea, or when a non physical concept can shape the way a physical object is used. As you can see, physical and non physical things can interact in a variety of ways, so why not embrace the possibilities and enjoy the wonders of our world!
