William Shakespeare
What makes our leaves so special?
Our leaves, so special in their own unique way, Bring forth a beauty that is seen each day. Each leaf has its own shape, size, and hue, That creates a sight so fresh, so new. The colors of fall, so vibrant and bright, Are made more stunning with each leaf's delight. The shades of red, orange, and yellow, Make the trees look like a jolly fellow. The leaves in the spring, so delicate and thin, Are so fragile, that a gentle breeze can make them spin. The colors of green, so fresh and alive, Make the trees look like a lively hive. The leaves in the summer, so sturdy and strong, Can withstand the heat of the day, so long. The colors of brown, so earthy and deep, Make the trees look like they are fast asleep. What makes our leaves so special indeed, Is that each one has its own special seed. This seed of life, so precious and small, Will blossom anew, when it is the fall.
