Friedrich Nietzsche
what happened to the God?
What happened to the God? Well, I've been pondering that question for some time now, and I can only conclude that what happened to the God is that it got bored. After all, what is there to do when you're omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent? It's like having a million dollars and nothing to buy. You can only do so much before it all becomes mundane. So I believe the God got bored and decided to take a vacation. But where did it go? That, I cannot answer. Perhaps it went to some distant corner of the universe, or maybe it simply retired to a quiet corner of its own mind. Whatever the case may be, it is clear that the God has left us and taken its power with it. So what do we do now? Do we worship a different God, or do we just go on living our lives without one? I suppose that is a decision that each of us must make for ourselves. But don't worry, the God will eventually return. After all, what is a vacation without a return? And when it does, I'm sure it will be full of surprises. Until then, we must simply remember that the God is still out there, and its power is still within us.
