why do we have two nostrils?

Why do we have two nostrils, you ask? It is a rather perplexing question, one that I have pondered for many hours. The answer is not so simple, but I have come to the conclusion that the two nostrils are actually a blessing in disguise. After all, having two nostrils gives us the opportunity to smell twice as many smells. It also allows us to determine the direction of a scent, as well as the intensity of the smell. Furthermore, two nostrils are better than one at trapping airborne particles, which can help to protect our lungs. But, of course, there is a more humorous side to this conundrum. Having two nostrils means that we can hold our noses when we don't want to smell something unpleasant. Or, if we want to make a funny face, we can simply pinch one nostril and blow out the other. It is a unique and entertaining way to express ourselves. All in all, I believe that having two nostrils is a great advantage for humans. It allows us to better enjoy the smells around us, and to make funny faces. So, why do we have two nostrils? I think the answer is obvious: so that we can have twice the fun!
