William Shakespeare
why people are lazy
Ah, why are people so lazy? 'Tis a quandary that has plagued the minds of many a great thinker. It seems to be an affliction that knows no bounds, for even the most industrious of us can fall victim to its beguiling embrace. Methinks it is a matter of convenience, for why should one expend effort when they can take the easy way out? Alas, it is a slippery slope, for the more one avoids labor, the more they will come to rely on it. It is a matter of inertia, for when one is in motion, they do not wish to stop, and so they may continue on their path of least resistance, even if it is not the most productive. It is a matter of comfort, for why should one leave the comfort of their home and strive to accomplish something when they can stay in bed and sleep? It is a matter of boredom, for when one is not stimulated, they may find themselves in a state of lethargy, and thus not feel the inclination to do anything. It is a matter of habit, for if one has become accustomed to a certain lifestyle, it can be difficult to break free from it. Indeed, why are people so lazy? 'Tis a question that will likely remain unanswered for some time yet, but one thing is certain - we must all strive to break free from its beguiling embrace.
